Program Description:

Change and transition is a constant in today’s world. Many people react to change with strong emotions and a sense of uncertainty or even fear. Yet some people seem to bounce right back after experiencing change and stressful situations. What enables them to do so? It involves resilience, which is the ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change. The good news is that over time, building resilience leads to the confidence and an ability and willingness to act courageously, which can significantly expand individual, team and organizational potential.

This highly interactive workshop will help practitioners and participants develop the capacity for resilience and enable them to help others prepare for and thrive in times of change. Participants will assess their own personal resilience and ability to adapt to change, and develop a personalized development plan that incorporates the 5 keys to building resilience and acting with courage. Everyone will come away with tips and best practices to build knowledgeable change leaders, help people manage and thrive during change and build resiliency in themselves, their teams or for their clients. The tools and activities in the workshop can be easily customized to allow practitioners to adapt them to help their own clients become more resilient.
