DC Area OD Practitioners CoP

Topic: "Food for Thought"

Session Description:  January 2017 is the sixth anniversary of the DC Area OD Practitioners CoP, formally the New Practitioners CoP.  The name was changed because after five years, many of the people who attended were no longer new practitioners and not many of the sessions were focused on topics of interest only to those practitioners.

To mark this anniversary, this CoP session will be a good opportunity to celebrate its successes and to focus on its future opportunities.  Essentially, how can the CoP best serve you in the future?

If you are new to the CoP or you are a regular attendee, we welcome your being with us.  This will be a very informal fun event where you can hang with your buddies, meet new ones, and be creative about the  possibilities for the CoP.  The food part of it is that I ask that you bring a snack to share, and drinks will be provided.  If you have any questions and/or suggestions, just let Mark know.

Presenter:  Mark Sachs is an external organization development consultant and executive coach.  He works with a wide range of government, corporate, and non-profit clients and has a particular interest in helping clients set better boundaries with others.  Mark has a MS in Organization Development from the American University/NTL Institute and MA and BA degrees in Sociology from Rutgers University.  Mark is also an ICF, PCC coach and serves as Adjunct Faculty to the AU/NTL Master’s Program.

CoP Leader:  Mark Sachs, ma.sachs@verizon.net.

Cancellation policy: Registrants should contact Mark if they need to cancel.

Additional notes:  A $5.00 per person contribution is requested to help pay for rental of the room.
