Baltimore-Washington SIG

Topic: Coaching Through Barriers:  Restoring Partnerships

Partnerships, co-leadership, and collaboration can pose unique challenges in working relationships.  When roadblocks emerge they may not only threaten the working relationship, but the stability of the work or organization itself.  Team development facilitators and coaches can assist these partners in building bridges that renew the relationship and energize the work, if given the opportunity.

We will discuss a process for coaching a pair of individuals through a major roadblock, as well as how we may position ourselves to gain the opportunities to help restore partnerships.

Speaker: Dr. Allison Fritz (afritz@JHHC.com)

Dr. Allison Fritz has been an organization development professional for over 15 years, working in higher education, private corporations, as well as non-profit healthcare.  Presently, an Organization Development and Training Consultant at Johns Hopkins HealthCare LLC, Allison encourages positive change in both the organization and the individual, through team development, coaching, and planning processes.  Allison has a doctoral degree in Staff and Organization Development from the University of Maryland College Park; a Masters in Counseling and Student Personnel, and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware.
