Topic: Use of Self as a Change Agent

Last meeting we explored experientially the model of being - doing - having. Fundamental to having is what you do and what you do is based on your being. If there is an alinement and congruence between the three then you can expect things to fall into place. If not, the first place to inquire or examine is “being.”

Some relevant questions about being include: What are the hidden loyalties? What hidden beliefs might be trying to protect us from some trauma or threat that lingers in the frozen past? What resources are within that we can call upon?  This meeting we will continue to look at how being (the totality of our "self," both conscious and subconscious aspects) drives our ability to "make a dent" the world. Another interesting model, called WOOP, may give us some insight to shaping our world. It stands for Wish, Outcome, Obstacles, Plan.  A successful plan usually takes into account the obstacles (inner and outer) and finds a way to turn them into allies.

As we did in the last two meetings we will focus on moving forward to realize our dreams and goals for 2015. Come be a part of a dynamic and transformative afternoon.
