Program Description:

Emotional Intelligence (also known as Emotional Quotient or EQ) is a set of emotional and social skills that influence the way we perceive and express ourselves, develop and maintain social relationships, cope with challenges, and use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.  The flip side of cognitive intelligence (IQ), EQ helps leaders better understand themselves, recognize how they interact with others, and become more aware of how their emotions play into how they make decisions and handle stress.

This presentation will first introduce the elements of the EQ-i 2.0 assessment model, and then allow participants to self-score their emotional intelligence, participate in small group discussion to talk about which EQ attributes work best in various organizational settings, and share their own EQ leadership experiences with the larger group.
