Description:

Organization development and change practitioners of all kinds welcome. Whether you are a coach, an OD practitioner, a mediator, a facilitator, a dialogue and deliberation expert, a community organizer, a restorative justice practitioner, a mediator, or an aspiring change maker, join us!

We will meet and get to know one another. As we grow, interested folks could provide presentations or other offerings.

    Topic: What Is Racism?

    Details: So there has been plenty of discussion about race equity and its intersection with OD. And many people have clients asking for coaching around issues of race equity. Core to that is understanding what is race and racism and how racism developed in the US. This workshop will provide you with a succinct yet effective definition of racism, how the racial caste system developed in the US and the implications of that on organizational culture.

    Details: A Culture of HEART means action over apathy, humility over hubris, meaningful and intentional (as opposed to transactional) relationships, individual investment as opposed to individual interest, and a solution-oriented mentality. Prepare for a highly interactive and revealing discussion on standards and leave with tools that will help you build a stronger team, stronger influence, productive relationships and ultimately a culture of HEART.

    2. Learn the four progress questions in relation to performance and goals

    3. Learn the value of an unshakable positive attitude and how to cultivate it
